The weekend comes and a takeaway is on the cards. You’re on the sofa, the TV is on, but what is your go-to takeaway?

Donegal people love a Chinese takeaway above all others, according to new data from Just Eat.

Pizza feasts are the second favourite choice in the north west, followed by a curry from the local Indian.

Coeliac/Gluten free dishes are the fourth most-ordered takeaways in Donegal, as people with special requirements take a night off cooking.

And in the fifth favourite spot is Turkish cuisine.

People in Donegal are most likely to be ordering an ‘offer’ when they treat themselves, according to Just Eat.

By reviewing the number of orders placed for each type of takeaway, data reveals that these are the Top 10 in Donegal:

1. Chinese
2. Pizza
3. Indian
4. Coeliac/Gluten free
5. Turkish
6. Mexican
7. Kebab
8. American
9. Fish & Chips
10. Thai
