Milford teacher gets to the heart of matter with special award

A Milford school teacher has received an award from the Irish Heart Foundation.

Martin McGrory, of Loreto Community School received a Special Recognition Award from Caoimhe Rudden, Schools Officer, Irish Heart Foundation for training staff and pupils in the lifesaving skills of CPR.

Loreto Community School, Milford, was the first school in Donegal to receive the award which recognises remarkable efforts in CPR promotion and training.

Through its CPR 4 Schools programme, the Irish Heart Foundation is creating a generation of life savers.
