Large crowds turned out at Letterkenny Shopping Centre this afternoon to welcome the arrival of a very special guest – Santa Claus!

Mr Claus arrived in style today with a Garda escort ensuring he and his elves got to the shopping centre safely and in good cheer.

Families soaked up the festive atmosphere and enjoyed music from Danielle Kelly with her singing school from Carndonagh and the Wild Rovers.

Santa soon got settled into his grotto to begin meeting young boys and girls who want to tell him how good they’ve been all year – and how they’ll keep being good until Christmas Eve!

Those who ho-ho-hope to see Santa can visit the Letterkenny Shopping Centre for a special visit and don’t forget to bring your letters for the magic North Pole Post Box.

Check out Letterkenny Shopping Centre on Facebook for more updates on Santa visits this season.
