SIX ATHLETES from Donegal have been selected as part of the Norther Ireland and Ulster team for an event early in 2020.

The athletes have been chosen to compete at the 2020 Celtic Cross Country Championships and the Home International Cross Country.

The race takes place in Stirling, Scotland on January 11 and offers a good chance to compete at international level.

Olympian AC duo Sean McGinley and Nuala Bose will take part in the U17 Celtic Cross Country.

Oisin Toye of Finn Valley will compete in the same race, as will Amy Greene from Rosses AC.

At Under-23 level, Inishowen’s Sarah Kelly and Letterkenny AC’s Eoin Hughes will travel to take part.
