Two of Donegal’s best-known musicians have come together to release a stunning Christmas single in aid of the homeless.

Rory Gallagher and Mickey Joe Harte have followed in the footsteps of The Flying Pickets and Yazoo and produced a stunning version of ‘Only You’ on Swerve Records.

Infused with the amazing fiddle-playing of another talented musician, Peadar Coll, the version of the well-known hit makes it an instant classic.

All proceeds from the single, which will be officially released on December 6th, will go directly to the Peter McVerry Trust.

The video for the song was produced by well-known Glenties cameraman Bradas O’Donnell.

If you want to hear a live version of the song then you can catch the lads when they play the Abbey Theatre in Ballyshannon on December 19th and the following night at An Grianan Theatre in Letterkenny.
