The body of a man in his 50s has been discovered in Bundoran.
Gardaí are investigating the sudden death, which occurred in the Ardfarna area of the town at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Forensic investigations are underway. A garda spokesperson confirmed that no foul play is being suspected at this time.
The man’s body was removed to Sligo University Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Gardaí said that the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the examination. A file will be prepared for the coroner’s court.
The area has been sealed off to the public.
