Gary Duffy has been confirmed as the new Buncrana senior team manager.

Duffy was ratified as the new Scarvey boss at a club committee meeting this week.

For the previous two years, Duffy had been in charge of the Donegal minors and had applied for the vacant under-21 job. However, Sean Paul Barrett was handed those reigns.

Now, Duffy is back in the hot seat at his home club, the 2019 Donegal JFC winners. Buncrana were Ulster Junior finalists this year, but lost 1-11 to 0-9 against Blackhill of Monaghan.

Lawrence Hegarty was ratified as manager of Buncrana’s ladies with Tom Clare to take charge of the senior hurlers in 2020.
