Two people have been hospitalised as a result of a crash in Portnablagh in North Donegal.

The two-car collision occurred on the main N56 road this Friday afternoon.

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to Gardaí.

The road is now open after emergency services attended the scene, however gardaí are warning motorists to take extra care due to oil on the road.
