A fire has broken out at one of Donegal’s most well-known nightclubs.

The fire broke out shortly after Dodge in Gaoth Dobhair just after 9pm this evening.

The club has been closed for some time now.

The blaze at the once hugely-popular venue has now been brought under control.

A number of fire tenders attended the scene of the blaze and roads into the scene of the blaze at Derrybeg were closed off.

It is not known what caused the blaze but nobody was injured in the fire.

A full investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
