Man arrested following serious disturbance in Letterkenny

A number of Gardai were forced to call to a serious disturbance after a major fight broke out at a premises in Letterkenny on New Year’s night.

Gardai have confirmed they were called to the premises at Lower Main Street in the early hours of January 1st.

A man in his 30s was arrested, interviewed at Letterkenny Garda station and later released.

A file on the matter is to be sent to the Director f Public Prosecutions.

Meanwhile, Gardai have appealed to anybody who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything to come forward.
