Emergency services were rushed to a fire at a well-known Bundoran pub this Monday afternoon.

The blaze broke out at the Emerald Bar at around 2pm.

Fire services from Bundoran and Ballyshannon battled the fire inside the premises, which was not open at the time.

The blaze was brought under control after a short time and no injuries have been reported from the incident.

However, it is believed that substantial damage was caused inside the bar.

Fire services operated a stop-go system on Main Street Bundoran during the incident.
