Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Connacht and Donegal as heavy rain is set to hit the west coast.
The weather alert comes as downpours could lead to a risk of localised flooding throughout Friday and Friday night.
The warning takes effect from 3pm Friday to 3pm Saturday.
