The team at Specsavers on the Diamond in Donegal Town pride themselves on being ahead of the curve when it comes to optical and hearing health.

The award-winning team has introduced a brand new technology with the optical coherence tomography (OCT) scanner. The device carries out hospital-grade eye tests and is Specsavers’ most advanced eye exam available.

Providing premium services and excellent customer care is what the Donegal Town team love to do, but we’ll let them tell you themselves:

Specsavers opened in Donegal Town three years ago, building on the success of Specsavers in Letterkenny. The locally-owned store now has 11 staff members and in 2019 they won the Platinum Employer Award for their outstanding management standards and staff development.

The core of the business is the clinical tests and aids. From audiology to opticals and eye health, they have a wealth of expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to test and treat many of the most common issues.

The Specsavers Donegal Hearing Centre provides free hearing tests with qualified hearing professionals along with wax removal services.

And in the optical department, they have a style of glasses to suit every age, taste and budget.

With over 1,000 frames in stock, you’ll find great value options in the Specsavers’ own-brand range or choose from the stylish designer frames, with collections by Orla Kiely, Balmain, GANT, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs and more. They also have a huge range of children’s eyewear  (many free with a HSE under 12s optical voucher) with a qualified dispensing optician, Shannon McGahon supervising children’s dispensing.

Specsavers Donegal Town at Unit 2 To 3, The Diamond Centre, Donegal Town is open Monday-Saturday Book your appointment now by calling 0749742686 or book online at www.specsavers.ie
