The L-1959-2 in the townland of Drumrooske, Donegal Town will be temporarily closed for the next two weeks to facilitate bridge works.

Donegal County Council will close the road from 13th January – 28th January. However, it is not known if today’s weather conditions will affect the work schedule.

The road will be closed from the underpass between the N15 and the L-1915-2 and for a distance of 250m North of the underpass.

Alternative Routes have been established:
Traffic travelling to Killymard and beyond will be diverted via the bypass (Doonan Roundabout), the L-1845-4 and the L-1865-2.

All heavy goods vehicles will be diverted via N15 and L-1945.
