Ronan Curtis to shun transfer talk and remain at Portsmouth

RONAN Curtis has reaffirmed his commitment to Portsmouth amid January transfer speculation.

The St Johnston man has been the subject of rumour surrounding his future, with Blackburn Rovers the latest club linked with the winger.

Curtis has scored 11 times this season for Pompey, who are in the hunt for promotion from League One.

Curtis hit 12 goals last season after making a summer switch from Derry City.

Now capped three times by the Republic of Ireland, Curtis has recaptured his fine form. Although his current deal is up in June, Portsmouth have the option of another 12 months.

It is believed that Curtis has expressed a desire to stay at Fratton Park as he bids to help Kenny Jackett’s team to a promotion push.
