All main roads across Donegal are to be gritted from 4pm today (Sat).
It follows a forecast of a heavy frost in the early part of the evening and overnight.
Donegal County Council is to send out its team of gritters to treat all major primary routes.
People are advised to drive with care during the heavy frost.
