LyIT scored the last three points of the half against IT Carlow to go in with a narrow lead in the Sigerson Cup semi-final in Inniskeen tonight.

The team managed by Michael Murphy were 0-4 to 0-2 down with Cian Farrell having scored three frees for Carlow. However, Michael Langan’s free, a fine score from Caoimhinn Marley and then a great point on the run from Aaron Gilhooley means it’s 0-5 to 0-4 at the break.

Full-time report and reaction to follow
