Gardai have issued a photofit of a car which they suspect was involved in a robbery of an antiques store in Letterkenny.

Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for information following a significant theft of jewellery and cash at Mourne Antiques on Saturday last.

Four women and a man entered a business premises on Upper Main Street, Letterkenny at approximately 4.30pm on Saturday January 18, 2020.

Once inside the property, a number of the individuals distracted staff, while one woman gained entry to a back office and stole a quantity of goods.

The items stolen included cash and jewellery, among them was an 18 carat white gold oval yellow sapphire cluster ring.
