Breaking: Shock as three children found dead in house in Dublin

There is widespread shock this evening after three children were found dead at a house in Dublin.

The bodies of three children, two boys and a girl al under the age of 10, were discovered at a domestic house in Newcastle, Co Dublin.

Gardaí are currently investigating the circumstances of their unexplained deaths.

Gardai went to the house at Parson’s Court in Newcastle after receiving a telephone call.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a woman walking around outside the house.

The woman in her 40s has been taken to Tallaght Hospital.

Gardai do not believe the children died of natural causes.

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 666 7600 where an incident room has been established.

There is no further information available at this time.
