FOR THE first time in a while, Jason Quigley left the ring content with his performance after his third round stoppage of Fernando Marin.

By Chris McNulty at The Hangar

Quigley moved to 18-1, 13KOs as a pro as he stopped Mexican Marin after one minute and 47 seconds of their bout at The Hangar in Costa Mesa.

“It’s the first time in a long time that I enjoyed a fight,” Quigley told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub..

“It’s the first time I controlled my emotions, I let my shots go and did what I do best.”

It was Quigley’s second win since he linked up with former WBO world middleweight champion Andy Lee.

Quigley said:  “Performance-wise, I’m very happy. Things me and Andy are working on in the gym are starting to come together.

“I felt good in there. I want to push on now. This keeps the momentum going and now I want to keep it going.”
