The death of a man whose body was found in Letterkenny on Sunday evening is not being treated as suspicious.

The body of a man in his 30s was discovered close to the Riverside Apartments between Lower Main Street and Pearse Road on Sunday evening.

A post mortem took place on Monday and Gardaí have today confirmed that the circumstances of the death are not being treated as suspicious.

“We would like to offer our condolences to his family,” said spokesperson Garda Clare Rafferty.
