A book of condolence has been opened in Donegal Town following the McGinley family tragedy in Dublin.
The book is being hosted at reception in the Central Hotel on the Diamond, where members of the public are invited to pay tribute to the three McGinley siblings who passed away on Friday.
The bodies of Conor, 9, Darragh, 7, and three-year-old Carla McGinley were found in their house at Parson’s Court in Newcastle, Dublin. Their father Andrew McGinley is from Co. Donegal.
In a message to all parents, Mr McGinley said: “There are no words. There is only devastation, grief and anguish. Every breath is a struggle.
“Conor, Darragh and Carla are adored. They all had beautiful, bright futures ahead of them with family, friends and a community who love them.”
Mr McGinley said he would battle every day to keep the memory of Conor, Darragh and Carla alive.
Gardaí have launched a triple murder investigation into the deaths of the three children. A woman in her 40s was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder. She is being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
