Business owners and the public are being warned after a lady was given a counterfeit €20 note as part of her change from a store in Letterkenny yesterday.
Garda Síochána Donegal issued the alert via Facebook earlier today, urging all businesses to be aware that these fake notes that may be in circulation and to advise staff to thoroughly check all notes received.
