Local programmes to teach mental health life skills and how to support loved ones

Aware, Ireland’s national charity supporting people affected by depression, is organising a number of positive mental health programmes in Donegal.

A six-week Life Skills Programme open to anyone wishing to learn new ways to tackle life’s challenges gets underway in Ionad Naomh Padraig, Gweedore on Wednesday February 5th at 7.30pm.

In addition, a four-week Relatives & Friends Programme, for those supporting a loved one experiencing depression or bipolar disorder, gets underway at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny on Wednesday February 5th at 7.30pm.
