Niall McConnell, currently running as an Independent nationalist candidate in Donegal, has announced the launch of his own newspaper.

The Castlefinn sheep farmer, who refers to himself as The Irish Patriot online, has launched his paper with the release of a special election edition. Twenty thousand copies of the paper have already been sold nationwide, according to McConnell.

The paper, titled “Siol na hEireann” features articles on McConnell’s principle policies, including;

  • Repatriating all illegal immigrants and foreign criminals
  • Overturning the abortion referendum
  • Leaving the EU
  • Opposing pornographic literacy in Sex Ed
  • Scrapping the Carbon Tax

Siol na hEireann means seed, tribe or race of Ireland. McConnell has also announced the launch of a new nationalist, anti immigration, activist movement of the same name, “Siol na hEireann”.

McConnell said: “This is exactly what Irish nationalists need, we are bringing the politics of action back to Irish nationalism.”
