Party Political Video

Minister Joe McHugh is putting his track record on show in his election campaign for Donegal.

It’s almost 70 years since Donegal last had a Fine Gael TD as Minister at Cabinet.

In the past four years, McHugh said he has built strong relationships to make a real difference to Donegal.

And he is determined to finish the work that he has started for the county.

As Ireland prepares to vote in the General Election on 8th February, the outgoing Education Minister has created a campaign video to outline his work so far, and what he plans to achieve in Donegal in the future.

The video explores McHugh’s achievements in education, culture, road projects, infrastructure, Gaeltacht development, along with major plans for further school upgrades.

He has promised to focus on “weaknesses” in health and infrastructure while continuing his work on progressing current and future projects with the same level of intensity that he has had over the years.
