Sean Connor’s side conceded four goals in the second half as their perilous plight continues.

Recent signings Peter Doherty, James Henry and Liam Walsh were all in for their first League starts.

Doherty signed from Cockhill Celtic with Henry arriving from Greencastle and Walsh joining having been at Finn Harps.

They joined fellow Donegal natives Conor Tourish (pictured above) and Evan Tweed (below) in the starting XI.

However, ‘Stute crashed to four goals after half-time.

An own goal put Larne ahead seven minutes into the second half before former Finn Harps striker David McDaid doubled the lead 11 minutes later.

Two goals in as many minutes by Jeff Hughes gave Larne a comfortable win and Hughes was denied a hat-trick as Rory Brown saved his penalty.
