The Donegal branch of the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group are seeking the assistance of the public to get details of a stranded pilot whale.

The Long Fin Pilot Whale was washed up on Arranmore Island recently.

The DWDG are now seeking the public’s help in getting measurements and more pictures of the creature.

It is not known at this stage how the whale died.

Anybody with pictures or who can take measurements of the whale should contact the DWDG through Facebook.
