AN Interprovincial Football For All Tournament was held at FAI headquarters in Abbotstown last week and the Donegal/Connacht team claimed victory.

It was a four-team tournament consisting of Donegal/ Connacht, Dublin, Munster and South Leinster.

The Donegal/Connacht team beat Dublin 3-0 in the first game. They followed that up with a 4-0 win against South Leinster in the second game before drawing with Munster 1-1.

This ensured that they had  the most points of all the teams and therefore won the tournament.

The Donegal / Connacht team was made up of players from St. Bernadette’s Special School in Letterkenny and Summerhill Secondary School, Sligo.

The four victorious St. Bernadette’s players were Corey Martin, Dean Whoriskey, Ryan Kildea and Kieran Irwin.

They were accompanied by staff members Terence Shiels and Eamon McDermott.
