An Inishowen school has taken the decision not to send pupils home from school after they returned from a school trip in Italy amidst the coronavirus outbreak.
A total of 72 pupils, as well as teachers from Carndonagh Community School returned from a ski trip last week.
The pupils stayed at a region north of Lombardi which is not a restricted area.
None of the pupils have shown any symptoms of the virus.
The school said they have liaised with the HSE and are following guidelines set down.
It has also given pupils the option to stay at home but no pupils have taken up this option.
