Irish Water has announced plans to put a traffic lights system on the Convent Road in Letterkenny this weekend.
The contractor, Cleantech, will commence work on Saturday 29th February until Monday 2nd March 2020.
The road will have a one-way system with two-way traffic light control. Traffic lights will be manually operated during site working hours from 07.00 to 18.30 and automatically operated at nighttime.
Irish Water has said that roads will be reinstated and opened to normal traffic upon completion of the works on Monday 2nd March 2020.
