DECLAN Coulter scored 13 points as Donegal hurlers booked a place in the Division 3A final.

Longford 0-13 Donegal 0-19

Coulter led the way as Mickey McCann’s Donegal (pictured by Geraldine Diver) won by six points to seal a final place.

Next weekend, Donegal will face Coulter’s home county, Armagh, in the Division 3A final.

Longford led by the minimum, 0-11 to 0-10, at half-time, but Donegal held their opponents to two points in the second half.

In return, Donegal added nine points to seal a win.

Donegal have been on form of late and this was a fourth win in a row following victories against Tyrone, Louth and Monaghan in recent weeks.

Coulter posted 13 points on a day when Donegal also had fine performances by Danny Cullen, Joe Boyle and Sean McVeigh.

Donegal scorers: D Coulter (6f, 2 ’65) 0-13, C Finn, L Henderson, G Gilmore, D Cullen, S Doherty, J Boyle 0-1 each
