A local appeal has been launched in Moville after three much-loved pet cats have gone missing.
The cats disappeared on separate days over the past week. Their disappearance is said to be very out of character and their owners are growing increasingly concerned.
Elene Michaelides’ two cats Clancy and Bobby went missing over the weekend, while her neighbour’s cat has been missing for a week.
Elaine said: “Clancy the tortoiseshell went missing in the early hours of Friday morning and Bobby disappeared in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“Our neighbour’s black cat has been missing for a week. Clancy is microchipped and has never done this before.”
