GARDAÍ in Letterkenny have seized a large quantity of stolen goods following a search of a house in the Letterkenny area.

Gardaí carried out a search this week and believe the recovered goods to have been stolen from shops on both sides of the border.

Officers believe that these goods may then have been advertised for sale via social media.

Gardaí have asked for people who observed such goods advertised or who may have purchased similar items online to come forward.

A Garda spokesperson said: “If you have bought any similar items online or if you have any suspicions in relation to any other goods being advertised online then please call the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111. You can also contact your local Garda station.”
