Family left terrified after home attacked by vandals

A family in St Johnston have been left terrified after their house was destroyed by vandals.

The house in the townland of Legnathraw was attacked between 6pm and 11pm on Wednesday last, March 4th while the occupants were out.

When the family returned they found the front door was smashed in and all the windows in the front of the house had ben smashed.

There was no attempt to gain entry to the house or steal items from it.

Gardai have appealed for any witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of the attack, which is close to Castletown School, to contact them at Letterkenny Garda station.
