DONEGAL jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle recorded his first winner of 2020 tonight in Dundalk.

Browne-McMonagle steered the 15/8 Dark Vadar to victory in the Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race and Stay Race.

The Letterkenny teenager and Dark Vadar squeezed home by a neck, pipping the 18/1 You’resobeautiful to the win.

Browne-McMonagle’s win came aboard the Joseph O’Brien-trained three-year-old over six furlongs.

Also at Dundalk, Rathmullan’s Oisin Orr – who shared the champion apprentice title in 2019 – was second on the 22/1 Koybig by a short head, edged by Mutadaawel (9/1).
