Petrol stations are reporting increased customer activity today after fuel prices were slashed across the country’s biggest retailers.
With fuel prices cut by up to 10c per litre, motorists in Donegal have been queuing up to fill their tanks.
The drop in prices is in response to a fall in the price of crude oil.
The fall has now reached leading Irish outlet’s supply chains to allow them to decrease prices for customers. On Friday, one leading retailer reported Diesel prices at 117.8 and Unleaded at 126.8.
Meanwhile, customers are being reassured that fuel supplies will not be affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
