Post-mortem confirms Letterkenny woman died of natural causes

GARDAÍ have confirmed that the woman whose body was found in Letterkenny on Monday died from natural causes.

A post-mortem examination was completed on the woman today at Letterkenny University Hospital.

The woman, who was in her 60s, was found dead at her home in Sylvan Park.

Gardai were first notified of the woman’s remains at the house on Monday morning last.

They immediately sealed off the house and launched a forensic investigation into the discovery of the body.
