East Donegal power outages leaves 175 homes in the dark

A POWER outage is currently affecting customers in the Lifford-St Johnston area.

There are 175 homes without power.

The outages was reported within the last 30 minutes.

ESB crews are working to repair the fault and estimate at the moment that power will be restored by 11pm.

“We apologise for the loss of supply,” a spokesperson said. “We are currently working to repair a fail and will restore power as quickly as possible.”

Separately, there are 12 customers currently without power in north Inishowen, with the ESB saying power will be restored to these homes by 10.15pm.
