Donegal’s healthcare workers have been given free parking in various locations during the coronavirus crisis.
Workers were contacted by the HSE to say that as of yesterday, Thursday, parking in and around hospitals and other healthcare facilities will be free.
Workers will be able to register and avail of the parking during the duration of the coronavirus crisis.
Before now medical staff working between facilities found themselves having to pay for short-term parking.
Also, traffic wardens and parking attendants are being urged to be understanding with healthcare workers being forced to park at various locations during what will be a hectic time for them in the coming weeks.
