Gardaí searching for a missing person in Donegal have confirmed that they have been located safe and well.
A widespread search operation took place in the Stranorlar area on Sunday afternoon and evening in response to a missing persons report.
The operation involved gardaí and local volunteers with the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team.
The person was safely located last night, it has been confirmed.
All search teams have been stood down.
