Gardai in Donegal have taken control of a number of new vehicles to help in the community fight against Covid 19.
Two weeks ago Gardai issued a plea for more than 200 vehicles which could be used in the community in the coming weeks and months.
Gardaí from Letterkenny and Buncrana yesterday went to collect some of the new vehicles yesterday.
A spokesperson said “More wheels on the road will enable us to help more people. Please call us in Letterkenny on 0749167100, Buncrana on 0749320540, Milford on 0749153060 or Ballyshannon on 0719858530 if you need our assistance with anything.
“We will certainly do all we can to help.”
Gardai have been praised for their response in assisting local communities across Donegal as this trying time.
