Foyle Ferry service is cancelled for Easter

The Foyle Ferry will not be operating this Easter.

The service, which runs between Greencastle and Magilligan, is run by the Frazer Ferries Group.

A spokesperson for Donegal County Council said the ferry will not now be operating at Easter and will be reviewed going forward.

“In light of the COVID – 19 situation and the restrictions already in place, Donegal County Council has agreed with the operators of the Foyle Ferry Service – Frazer Ferries Group –  that the ferry service will not be running over the upcoming Easter period.

“The provision of the service later in the year will be kept under review, in consultation with the company,” said the spokesperson.
