A new development of 99 new homes is on the horizon for the Creevesmith area of Letterkenny.

A planning application is being lodged with Donegal County Council for the construction of 79 new houses and 20 apartment units in the area which has seen major development in recent years.

The application is being made by GDC Ireland Ltd, the company which has built hundreds of high standard homes in Letterkenny during and after the recession.

The new units, designed by MH Associates Architects & Surveyors, would be part of the overall Crieve Mor Avenue development which is currently underway.

Construction commenced on Phase 1 of the ‘Next Generation’ homes at Crieve Mor Avenue in May 2019. There has been a high demand for the A-Rated homes, which are set to be the most energy-efficient homes built by GDC (IRL) to date.

Construction was temporarily halted at the site this week due to the Covid-19 working restrictions.
