Covid-19: 63 cases now confirmed in Donegal

Sixty-three cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Donegal, according to the latest update from the Department of Health.

The total has increased from 46 cases confirmed yesterday.

Fourteen more patients have died in Ireland today as a result of coronavirus.

A further 212 new cases nationwide have also been confirmed in the past 24 hours.

Ten deaths were located in the east and four were in the south of the country today.

Eight patients were reported as having underlying health conditions.

There have now been 85 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland. The median age of deaths in Ireland is 82.

The latest figures dating to Monday have shown that 126 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to ICU.

The total number of confirmed cases in Ireland is 3,447. 752 of the cases (25%) is now associated with healthcare workers.
