COVID-19 testing in Letterkenny has been suspended for the second time this week.

The test centre at O’Donnell Park will not be in operation tomorrow.

It is believed that there are plans to resume testing on Friday afternoon.

Testing began at O’Donnell Park on Friday past with the process moved from St Conal’s Hospital.

There was no testing on Monday owing to a lack of specialised testing equipment.

The reason for the latest suspension of the process has not yet been clarified by the HSE.

O’Donnell Park is one of two coronavirus testing centres in Donegal, with another at the Lakeside Centre in Ballyshannon.
