The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus Covid-19 in Donegal has risen to 77.
This is a 13% increase on yesterday’s reported figures (68).
Twenty two more patients have died as a result of Covid-19 in Ireland, the Department of Health has confirmed.
No deaths have been reported in the north west in the past 24 hours.
A further 424 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the national total to 4,273.
There have now been 120 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
The median age of COVID-19 related deaths is 82.
96% of patients who have passed away had an underlying health condition.
As of midnight on 1st April 2020, 948 confirmed cases were associated with healthcare workers.
