THE Donegal Under-14 ladies team have put together a video telling front-line workers: ‘You are our heroes!’

The Liam Skelly-managed squad (pictured above earlier in the year), with players from all over Donegal, pass a football all over the county while relaying a message to front-line healthcare and essential services staff.

“We don’t want to pass on this virus,” the girls say. We want to pass this football around our whole county to show our support and appreciation for all the frontline healthcare workers, pharmacy and supermarkets and essential service staff by staying in.

“It’s a small sacrifice to male compared to the sacrifice they make for us every day.

“We owe you all a great debt of gratitude. You are our heroes.”
