DONEGAL’S Latest ChefAid programme has been launched in Inver.

From next Monday, April 13, meals will be delivered to those in need.

The phone line will be manned between 10-12 daily and orders will be taken for delivery. The deliveries will be made by a dedicated team of volunteers.

The group says: “We will be an outreach program that provides a free hot meal to the elderly and compromised in our community. We intend to cover the parish of Inver and surrounding area.”

A GoFundMe page has been launched and is in operation here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/chefaid-inver

Similar operations are up and running in other parts of Donegal and have already raised over €40,000 in order to keep the programmes going.
