Ten more healthcare workers in the North West region have been diagnosed with Covid-19, bringing the total to 35.
Healthcare staff now represent 24% of all coronavirus cases in the region.
Of the known cases among north west healthcare staff, six are associated with foreign travel and 18 workers had no history of foreign travel in the 14 days prior to onset of symptoms. The travel status of the remaining 11 workers was not provided.
Donegal now has a total of 103 confirmed cases of Covid-19, while Sligo has 28 and Leitrim has 14.
Another three clusters/outbreaks have been reported in the north west, according to the latest report by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.
There are now 15 known clusters in the region – including three in nursing homes, two in community hospitals/long-stay units, one in a hospital and four in private homes.
